For those who have Y5 children and will be applying for a secondary school place this year, here is a round up of dates for the local secondary school open days and tours.

Information has been extracted from the school websites and may change so I’ve included the school websites for you to check.

If you are local and have little ones who love animals then pop to Pets at Home for their free workshops this weekend! Available to book online these free sessions are 45 mins and a great way to meet some of their furry friends.

AD - Walton Charity is hosting an event as part of the Eden Project ‘Big Help Out’ at Terrace Road Community Allotment.
This will take place on Friday 5th June from 10-4pm

They are looking for local residents to come together to help with improving their Green Spaces. The allotment is 10 years old this year and they are looking to make some improvements and celebrate in style!

From sowing seeds, to planting out, weeding, creating new paths and upcycling projects - there’s something for everyone to get involved with and there will be ample tea and cake on offer!
Come for an hour or the day, they would really love to see you there.
