Throughout the summer months, alongside the glorious weather, we've been extremely busy covering a variety of sites across London and the South East.

We thought we'd give you a quick recap on some of the work we've been up to!

Including;

Supporting four and a half month long project at Heathrow Airport providing confined space rescue support to a long standing client undertaking asbestos remedial works airside on the airport infrastructure. Throughout the project we've had a team of expert confined space rescue technicians on site covering over 200 entries into a series of service tunnels whilst our client undertook their works stripping out and removing harmful asbestos.

Water rescue cover to a rail engineering client at Battersea.

Supporting Kredas Ltd whilst a team of structural surveyors carry out examinations and investigations on a number of assets across London and Essex on the highway network.

Working at height and confined space rescue cover at the National Physical Laboratory in West London.

On top of this we've covered the day to day needs of our clients on smaller projects across London, the South East and Midlands. Including ships, motorways, sewage treatment plants, railway infrastructure and many more!

We've also recruited a number of probationary rescue technicians who are being supported by the team and are well on their way to becoming competent rescue team members.

We took the chance this week to get most of our rescue vehicle fleet back to our depot to carry out a thorough stock take and restow of equipment.

Coming up in the autumn we've got a number of sites lined up to cover, but we're always looking to engage with new clients who require assistance and rescue cover for their confined space, water and working at height projects.

The Confined Space Rescue Trade Association (CSRTA) is launching, and ready to offer a range of modules aimed at those who wish to further their skills and competence in the confined space rescue field.

I'm proud to be a founding member of the association since the start, alongside a number of dedicated professionals across the UK, modules and guidance have been tested and developed for colleagues across the industry.

🌧️Last night saw a team deployed at short notice a local authority client with an urgent assessment to mitigate the risk of flooding in North Essex.⛈️

🌧️Due to the heavy rainfall we've had, and with more likely we were tasked to support an urgent inspection of a 313m storm culvert with a previous history of flooding to assess the control measures needed to mitigate any further risk of flooding.🌊

⛑️Our Rescue Team assisted with both person entries, and CCTV examinations of the entire culvert by drainage specialists🛟

Multiple entries into the culvert were overseen by the team on-site, pre-planned at short notice, fortunately no immediate issues were identified.

It's been a fantastic 2025 here at ResTech Services Ltd. Many sites have been covered, many clients supported and a growing team of expert rescue technicians added to, with new colleagues coming into the business carrying on our ethos of 'Safety In Place', everytime.

Throughout the year the team continued to provide expert Confined Space Rescue and Support Cover across London & the South East of England.

Alongside the core of our business we've also spent countless hours providing professional consulting, water rescue, working at height to supplement our growing work bank.

In the spring we moved to a purpose built, high spec premesis enabling us to grow further with new equipment, vehicles and support staff catered for perfectly located ideally in South Essex.

At the start of the year we engaged with one of the biggest principal contractors in the UK who required an end to end solution to a challanging project they are managing. Completing nearly 3000 man hours on site which allowed us to grow further.

We've engaged with current, and a host of new clients, who love our approach to professional working and putting safety at the heart of every project we cover.

2026 will see us grow further, with new services provided, including a dedicated in house team providing enabling works to allow for safe access into confined spaces.

We also have some big news that we will be announcing in the new year, so watch this space.
