**Timeline for the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II**
Monday
6.30 a.m - The doors of Westminster Hall , where Queen Elizabeth II has been lying in state, will close to the public.
10.44 a.m - The royal procession leaves from the Palace of Westminster to Westminster Abbey. The state gun carriage will carry Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin, and members of the royal family will follow behind.
10.52 a.m - Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin arrives at the gates of Westminster Abbey and is carried inside.
11 a.m - The ceremony begins, and will include readings and prayers by political and religious leaders.
11.55 a.m - There will be a two minute silence across the U.K.
Noon - The funeral ends with reveille and the national anthem. The coffin will then go on another procession through the streets of London as Big Ben tolls.
1 p.m - The coffin arrives at Wellington Arch, and from there the royal family will make the 20 mile trip to Windsor Castle.
3.06 p.m - The state hearse arrives in Windsor. The King, along with other members of the royal family, will then make their way on foot to St. George’s Chapel.
4 p.m. - The Committal Service begins at St. George’s Chapel, conducted by the Dean of Windsor and ending with a blessing from the Archbishop of Canterbury.
7.30 p.m - Queen Elizabeth II is laid to rest in a private ceremony in King George VI Memorial Chapel at Windsor Castle. She will be buried with her late husband, Prince Philip.

Bin collections on Monday 19th September update:-

Birmingham City Council have confirmed the following to us:-

"Our crews will be delivering the waste and recycling collections scheduled for Monday so residents who have their bins picked up on the Monday should present their bins in the usual way."

Obviously there is a chance of some disruption to the service so please keep your bin out if the collection is delayed and report the missed collection to the Council for clearing.
