We recently took part in a doctoral research study led by Jonathan Pritchard at Keele University Business School, where research was carried out with the Gen Z members of our office team exploring the experiences and expectations of Generation Z within the construction industry.

The research highlighted DC Construction’s strong workplace culture, supportive environment and commitment to developing and investing in young talent across the business.

Today some members of the DC Construction team took part in the Race for Life 5K in Birmingham in support of Cancer Research UK 💗

We’re incredibly proud to share that, together, we raised an amazing £3,778.38 including Gift Aid for such an important cause, smashing our original £700 target!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, supported, and cheered the team on throughout the event. Every contribution helps fund life-saving cancer research and makes a real difference.

We’re pleased to announce the successful handover of the Prince of Wales project, Heathview Rose in Shirley, a newly built care home designed to provide a high standard of care, comfort, and modern living.

The home has now successfully passed its CQC inspection and is fully operational, with residents now moved in and settling into their new environment.

Featuring 72 bedrooms, this development is a valuable addition to the local community, offering a safe, welcoming, and supportive space for residents and staff alike.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in delivering this project successfully. Your hard work, commitment, and collaboration made this achievement possible.

New project underway 🚧

Work has now started on our 64-bed care home in Bristol. We’re currently focusing on the foundations, marking the first stage in creating a comfortable and supportive environment for future residents.

We’ll be sharing updates as the build progresses and look forward to seeing it take shape over the coming months.

Foundation works are now underway in Redditch for a new 98-bedroom care home. 🏗️

This purpose-built development will provide high-quality accommodation designed with comfort, care, and community in mind — creating a safe and welcoming space for future residents.

We’ll be sharing more updates as the project progresses.

OnSite Development

Great to see the structure starting to take shape on our Newport project 🏗️

Following the completion of the foundations, we’ve now moved into the brick and blockwork phase, with visible progress being made across the site.
The building is really beginning to come together, marking another key step forward for this 70-bed care home development.

Renato has been doing an outstanding job in his role as Assistant Site Manager on the Ivy Project, where we are delivering 51 new-build apartments for Citizens Social Housing. His dedication, attention to detail, and commitment to keeping the project running smoothly have not gone unnoticed.
This recognition is a testament to Renato’s hard work and the positive impact he brings to the team every day.

The certificate was proudly presented by our Contract Manager, Mark Marshall, alongside Operations Coordinator, Shenda Harvey.
