Our crews across the West Midlands will be observing the minute's silence and parading outside their stations for the National Moment of Reflection this evening at 8pm.

Today is the anniversary of 9/11, and we remember the 2,977 lives lost in the devastating terrorist attacks on America. Amongst those, we pay tribute to the 412 first responders - including 343 firefighters.

As Charles III is proclaimed King, our thoughts remain with His Majesty, his family and everyone who mourns Queen Elizabeth II.

Flags at our stations and buildings will today fly at full-mast to mark the proclamation, before being lowered to half-mast tomorrow for the remainder of the mourning period.
