To further show our support, a group of GSA colleagues and customer panel members marched in the parade last weekend, a joyful celebration and powerful reminder of the ongoing journey for equality.

We’ve been promoting in Walsall this week. 💙

Our Dementia Support Workers held an information stall at Manor Hospital to raise awareness of the condition and its symptoms.

We also ran a drop-in session at the Community Engagement Centre, for local residents to meet PCSOs, dementia nurses and carers, to discover the support services we have available. Visitors took part in activities designed to replicate some of the daily challenges faced by people living with dementia.

We recently held a community fun day in Sparkhill, Birmingham. 🎈

More than 90 families attended the event to enjoy crafts, games, books and refreshments, plus free second-hand clothing to take home.

Local health teams were on hand to provide advice, and our Household Support Fund Team helped 70 families apply for additional financial support.
