The Cadets were fortunate to have a visit from Warwickshire Search and Rescue and have an introduction into their team, equipment and role.

From rope techniques for water rescue, ground scent dogs, first aid and drones, the Cadets loved it!

Yesterday marked a bittersweet moment as we bid farewell to Sgt Kian Edwards, who dedicated 4 incredible years to our squadron since joining in 2022. Not only did he provide exceptional leadership, but he also played a pivotal role in our wing field day winning First Aid team during his final year. Sgt Edwards was presented with a heartfelt framed momento from his time with the squadron, handed over by Plt Off Kiely. OC Flt Maher expressed his gratitude, saying “Thank you to Sgt Edwards for his years of service and we wish him the best of luck in his future career”.
