Waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh,

Today KJM met a legendary gursikh who we have all forgotten. This gursikh fought for our panth, this gursikh gave all their money, labour, heart into the panth.

This gursikh has become battle worn. The tears in her eyes, why? The youth are silent. The youth are now afraid, our youth doesnt dream. Our youth doesnt try.

From 1976 till today, shes fought. The gursikh we met is now well over 70 years old. Youth where are you? This gursikh was central to everything about fighting for our rights. Youth spend more time on the Ladbible than doing your paath. Youth spend more time interested in the opposite gender than trying to save our sikhi. This isnt a protest. Its a movement. This isnt run by age old rich fat cat grandads. We are the youth.

Wake up. Sikhi needs you, but you may not realise, you need it more.

The Gursikh we met cried, brothers i dont hear your roars.

Remember our shaheeds, they gave everything for what you believe in.

Give yourself a minute, are you a coward, or are you Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Singh and Singhni.

We stand for doing something real. We're not here for praises, we want change. We need you. For sikhi. For shaheeds and their families. For fighters who till today are fighting. For those who are too old to fight. Too afraid to fight. Join the movement.

MUST READ:

After visiting a bibi who has done great seva for sikhi, we felt the need to share our experience with you, the sangat. For safety and privacy reasons we cannot reveal any identities.
This bibi did not know we were coming to visit, she was alone at home and opened the door to two complete strangers. She saw the gursikh roop and invited us in. This elderly bibi ji put all her trust and faith into us in allowing us into her home. Sangat ji, we wanted to know more about her and her husband, who have done an incredible amount of seva for sikhi. As she spoke about her husbands experience of 84, and his efforts to save the panth she broke down into tears. Sangat ji this woman and her husband sold their business, their valuables in order to set up and embark on a mission to save Sikhi and seek justice. I must tell you, that watching documentaries on t.v about similar stories can be moving, but sitting in the same room as this bibi, who was opening her heart out to us, was a truely moving and eye opening experience. Both the husband and wife have dedicated years of their lives into trying to keep sikhi alive. As she told us of the people she had met who had died trying to help, she grew increasingly emotional and broke down. One thing she said was, media and youth are not doing enough, youth are forgetting their sikh roots and sikhi needs to be saved.

Khalsa Justice Movement aim to help bring a change. Not a temporary awareness but a real movement. I humbly request all sangat, think about our elders who have been through so much during radical change. Think about those singhs and sighniya who have given their lives for the panth. We, as a collective, need to work as one and make a step towards saving our precious sikhi.

As guru says:

If you take one step towards the guru, he will take a thousand towards you.

Please, Sangat ji, lets not let the elderly suffer, but lets make them proud.

Bhul Chuk Maaf.
