Delivery aligned perfectly with World Book Day and the National Year of Reading 2026. These wonderful additions to our library will greatly enhance our students' learning and literacy skills. 💰 Just saw that the minimum wage will be going up, great news for the young people in Old Warley. Do you know anyone who will benefit from this?

Minimum wage to increase by 4.1% from April, with bigger increases for younger workers The rate will rise to £12.71 an hour for over-21s, while 18 to 20-year-olds will get an 8.5% rise to £10.85.

Autumn Budget 2025: £150 to be cut from energy bills from April 2026 – and Martin Lewis has pushed for this to include households on fixes From 1 April 2026, all households in England, Scotland and Wales will see their energy bills cut by £150 a year on average, the Chancellor has confirmed in the Autumn Budget. The reduction will take place due to various renewable energy levies paid by consumers being removed from bills.
