Its been a pleasure serving the people of Old Warley for the past three years alongside my colleagues Councillor Harnoor Bhullar for Old Warley and Councillor Luke Cotterill for Old Warley . Thank you to all the people who voted for me and for your continued support. This time it was not to be...until next time, wishing you all the best.

📚✨ A heartfelt thank you to the Old Warley Labour Councillors who recently donated a generous number of books to Perryfields Academy. Delivery aligned perfectly with World Book Day and the National Year of Reading 2026. These wonderful additions to our library will greatly enhance our students' learning and literacy skills. We are always grateful for the community's support in enriching our students' lives. Together, we can inspire a love for reading! 💖

I can’t say enough about how important books are to me—they’ve always been my escape, a place where my imagination can run free. 📚✨

In my current reading group, I’m one of the few who still hasn’t switched to digital… I just love the feel of a real book and the simple joy of turning each page.

I’m so grateful that Sandwell has managed to keep its libraries open. And the introduction of a mobile library is so great? Honestly, it was a lifesaver when I couldn’t get to one when I was younger.

It makes me so happy seeing my son fall in love with reading too—he’s really into Tom Gates right now! Still working on getting him to branch out a little more… one book at a time 💙
