* edit, today wasn't awful at all, but there is an eary silence around when it is quiet, and certainly less people in and looking around, I'm nearly 5 years into running a shop I can definitely tell when it's quiet...*

Retail is brutal right now, every single day I read about a small buisness closing there doors, I spoke to a lady who worked for a national company today & she said " oh we are quiet", I understand it's a worry for all, but imagine having no idea if you will have 1 or 30 people through the door, if you will cover your shop rent for the month, be able to pay your bills/shop insurance before you've even put a single penny in your own pocket, thats the how scary it is, you literally have no idea, there is no guaranteed monthly wage,

we need people to tell there friends about our little shops, instead of paying £2.50 for a cup of tea in a well known large coffee shop, spend £1.50 & have one here with a handmade cake made by a local baker, you make the difference for little shops like mine staying open,

So please give us a share, tell a friend, pop in for a cup of tea, just remember us and all the other small buisness's fighting to stay open and not become another closed statistic ❤️ and to all my regulars you have no idea how important you are to us, and I am so greatful for your continued support 👏

We have donated this year already. What are you doing in your school to raise money for Comic Relief? When I led School Council in my last school, they decided they wanted to sell the red noses so I organised this and the children in the School Council and I gave up their lunch times and sold all the red noses we bought - I was very proud of the time they gave up for a good cause - I will always remember the effort they put in ♥️
