A dyslexia diagnosis can be helpful because it gives a clear explanation of why some tasks may feel harder, while also identifying the person’s strengths. It can open the door to more personalised support at school, college, university, work and in everyday life. The support should always be matched to the individual, as dyslexia affects people in different ways.
