๐ Coming into the Royal Glamorgan Hospital? Please bring your medicines with you.
Weโve been busy installing a new pharmacy dispensing robot over the past couple of months โ and weโre nearly there. While it will support safer, smoother patient care, there may be some temporary delays while installation is completed.
๐ Take a look at the robot: https://fb.watch/HnSu1ohYqu/
If youโre coming in for a planned visit, please bring all the medicines you take at home โ including original boxes/packaging and blister packs.
This includes:
โข Prescription medicines
โข Inhalers, creams, eye drops
โข Insulin and injections
โข Tablets, capsules and liquids
โข Over-the-counter medicines
โข Vitamins or supplements
Bringing your medicines helps us avoid delays, check your treatment accurately, reduce waste, and keep you safe.
Weโll store everything safely and return it when you go home.
If you forget or come in as an emergency, donโt worry, weโll take care of you. But if your visit is planned, please remember your medicines.
Thank you for helping us during this change. ๐
๐ Ydych chiโn dod i Ysbyty Brenhinol Morgannwg? Dewch รข'ch moddion gyda chi.
Rydyn ni wedi bod yn brysur yn gosod robot dosbarthu fferyllol newydd dros yr ychydig fisoedd diwethaf โ ac rydyn ni bron yno. Er y bydd yn cefnogi gofal cleifion mwy diogel a llyfn, efallai y bydd rhywfaint o oedi dros dro wrth i'r gosodiad gael ei gwblhau.
๐ Cymerwch olwg ar y robot: https://fb.watch/HnSu1ohYqu/
Os ydych chi'n dod i mewn am ymweliad wedi'i gynllunio, dewch รข'r holl feddyginiaethau rydych chi'n eu cymryd adref โ gan gynnwys y blychau/deunydd pacio gwreiddiol a'r pecynnau swigod.
Mae hyn yn cynnwys:
โข Meddyginiaethau ar bresgripsiwn
โข Mewnanadlyddion, eli, diferion llygaid
โข Inswlin a phigiadau
โข Tabledi, capsiwlau a hylifau
โข Moddion dros-y-cownter
โข Fitaminau neu atchwanegiadau bwyd
Mae dod รขโch moddion yn ein helpu i osgoi oedi, gwirio eich triniaeth yn gywir, lleihau gwastraff, aโch cadw chiโn ddiogel.
Byddwn yn storio popeth yn ddiogel a byddwn yn ei ddychwelyd pan fyddwch yn mynd adref.
Os byddwch yn anghofio neu'n dod mewn argyfwng, peidiwch รข phoeni, byddwn yn gofalu amdanoch chi. Ond os yw eich ymweliad wedi'i gynllunio, cofiwch eich moddion.
Diolch am ein helpu yn ystod y newid hwn. ๐

โ๏ธ Coed Ely Solar Farm celebrates double national award success โ๏ธ
Rhondda Cynon Tafโs Coed Ely Solar Farm has achieved national recognition, achieving two prestigious industry awards and securing its status as a leading renewable energy project in Wales!
๐
The project has been named Renewable Energy Project of the Year at the National Energy Awards 2026 in London, following an earlier success in March, when Coed Ely Solar Farm was awarded the Clean Energy Project of the Year at the National Green Energy Awards in Bristol.
Delivered in partnership with Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board, Stantec and Vital Energi, the Coed Ely Solar Farm plays a vital role in the councilโs decarbonisation strategy, exporting approximately 5MW of clean electricity to the national grid. In addition, the project supports local public services through a pioneering power purchase agreement, supplying 1MW of low-carbon electricity directly to the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. This helps to reduce emissions within the healthcare sector while providing a reliable source of sustainable energy.
