POLITE NOTICE: PLEASE ONLY LEAVE BOOKS IF THERE IS ADEQUATE SPACE.
Unfortunately a number of books had to be taken out and thrown away today as they had been severely damaged by being left on the floor of the phone box in the cold wet weather and others had also been damaged by where people had tried to force books onto the shelf.
We must please ask that books are only donated if there is space to do so, if the shelves are full please do not pile books on the floor etc. we try to tidy the phone box as often as possible and to keep the shelves as efficiently organised and full as possible but it disheartening to constantly battle the mess.
If the phone box is full please keep hold of your donations until there is space (the books get taken very regularly so space soon frees up) or consider donating to Ickworth NT second hand bookshop.
We must also ask that only books are donated, we’d love to accept other items but there is simply not space so please take dvds, home decor and similar items to the charity shops.
