Your community. Your voice. Your future.

The risks facing our communities can change over time, and they aren’t the same everywhere across Lancashire.

That’s why we want to hear from the people who live and work here.

We’re now in the second phase of our Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) consultation, asking for your views on the risks we’ve identified and how Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service plans to prevent and respond to them.

Your feedback will help shape our final plan and how we deliver our services over the next five years.

Take part: www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/LFRScrmp2

It takes around 5 minutes to complete and closes at 5pm on Friday 9 October 2026.

Our Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) outlines how we'll help keep Lancashire safer over the next five years.

Following feedback from our communities, partners and employees earlier this year, we've developed our draft plan and are now launching the second phase of our consultation.

We're asking for your views on the community risks we've identified and how we plan to prevent and respond to them.

So its now just 2 days away, donations are coming in and the bikes are all ready, nice and clean, serviced, fuelled, and good to go. We received some fab messages of support from North West Air Ambulance Charity and the Fire Fighters Charity, thank you for your encouragement.

Finally, could we ask you to support this insane fund raising adventure, even if its only a quid, it all counts, and takes us closer to being able to give these two wonderful charities some support.

Advanced Warning of Noise Around Turner St & Littlemoor Rd, Clitheroe.

We would like to make you aware of a planned Emergency Services scenario which will be taking place at Ribblesdale High School tomorrow, Thursday 9 July.

It has been organised by the school alongside the Rotary Club, Lancashire Fire and Rescue and Clitheroe Police Neighbourhood Team.

Part of the days activities include real case scenarios which will involve the presence of emergency service vehicles, with the addition of associated noise of sirens etc. Please be assured that this is pre-arranged and there is no cause for alarm. We will be done by the end of the school day.

If you live in the vicinity of the school, we apologise in advance for any inconvenience.

Tower to Tower and Back in 24 Hours is not just a motorcycle ride — it’s a serious endurance challenge.
On 30th July, our team will set off from Blackpool Tower at 8pm, riding through the night, across borders and into France with one huge target in mind: to reach the Eiffel Tower in Paris and return back to Blackpool Tower, all within 24 hours.
This will be a demanding journey of concentration, stamina and determination. Long hours in the saddle, changing weather, unfamiliar roads, fatigue, tunnel crossings and relentless timings will all be part of the challenge. It will not be easy — and that is exactly why we are doing it.
We are taking on Tower to Tower and Back in 24 Hours to raise money for two incredible charities: North West Air Ambulance Charity and Fire Fighters Charity. Both support people when they need help the most, and both make a real difference to lives across our communities.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help support these vital emergency services charities and show your backing for the riders taking on this tough challenge.
Please donate what you can and help us ride for a reason.

You might see multiple fire engines and other emergency service vehicles near Green Lane, Frances Green Farm, Ribchester (PR3 3YB) this evening.

Please do not worry, this is not an emergency, our crews are taking part in a training exercise.

Our firefighters train hard to make sure they're ready for the next real-world emergency.

Time is running out to share your views.

Our survey on the future of Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service closes this Sunday.

We’re currently developing our next Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP), the five-year plan that guides how we keep people across Lancashire safe. At this stage, there are no proposed changes; we’re simply asking communities what matters most to them.

Your feedback will help shape how our services are delivered in the years ahead, and we’re keen to hear from as many people as possible before the survey closes.
