Thank you sister Isobel Connelly

What an achievement, the Queen's award, equivalent to mbe for charity! Well done to everyone involved, now and in the past, but especially to my sister Deb Brownlee. Just some of the volunteers pictured, more to follow I'm sure!

Please subscribe to her channel. We’ll post the other song they recorded in St John’s, tomorrow.

Very pleased yesterday to host a visit from Andy Foster who is writing the latest Pevsner Guide for this area which catalogues the most significant buildings in the U.K.
He was especially interested in the wonderful East Window above the altar (dedicated to John Beddard a former Mayor of Dudley and father of Frank Evers Beddard FRA FRSE the famous zoologist) and is going to research a couple of points about it that we actually couldn’t answer.
He took many photographs and Grade II listed St John’s will be included in the guide.
