The training of volunteers has begun at McDonald Road.
Legacy page for the Museum of Fire, Edinburgh at Lauriston Place in Edinburgh. It is now perm closed
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has now sold the building and the collection is being moved into temporary storage until the proposed site at McDonald Road Fire Station is developed for the museums new home sometime in 2018. With that in mind this page is for visitors to post photographs and videos to remember the museum by. We appreciate all the support we got from everyone and hope that the new location can do the museum collection justice, time will tell.

One of our heritage appliances which had the sad duty of accompanying one of our fallen brothers on his final journey. RIP Dougie Forbes.
