Pictured are Council Leader Kelly Parry and Depute Council Leader Colin Cassidy at the launch of the Midlothian Decorating Centre in Dalkeith, alongside business owner Arran Wilson.
The new centre will supply decorating materials to both commercial and domestic customers across Midlothian, through this new store and an online service. Great news for local tradespeople, who can now access supplies closer to home.
Arran was supported by Business Gateway Midlothian to bring his business to life from the early stages of his journey, after he first connected with an adviser at an Edinburgh College drop-in session. The Gateway helped with developing a business plan and cashflow forecast, building local networks, and offering advice on securing commercial premises.
