The new chapel at St Albert's Catholic Chaplaincy in George Square has won two architecture accolades.
The building, which was completed in late 2012, came top in two categories in the 2013 Edinburgh Architectural Association Awards.
Designed by Edinburgh alumnus Stuart Allan, of Simpson & Brown architects, the new house of worship won awards for best new building and best use of wood in a building.
