Throughout March, focus groups were held across our services all over the country to hear directly from people about their support.
People shared thoughtful and honest feedback through crafts, activities and group discussions — telling Ark what’s working well and offering ideas for what could be improved.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part. Our Care and Support services will use this feedback to shape their plans and show people how their views are making a difference. 💬✨

📸 An update from the Blairgowrie team’s 5K walk for Autism Awareness Month!
Some of the fantastic supported people and staff from headed out on their 5K walk to mark Autism Awareness Month 💙 You’ll spot a few photos of them setting off, proof they did the route, and a wee stop in the park along the way.
They were very lucky with the weather and are delighted to have raised a brilliant £250 so far for the National Autistic Society — ana amazing achievement! 🙌
Well done to everyone who took part and thank you to everyone who donated, shared or supported. 👏🚶♀️🚶♂️

Forfar's Speak Out Group were delighted to welcome the National Involvement Network to their meeting on Friday! Group members really enjoyed the session, learning more about the Charter for Involvement and how it supports organisations like Ark to listen to and act on the voices of people who use our service. Some of the Forfar Speak Out Group were inspired to become members of the Network themselves.
As an organisation signed up to the Charter for Involvement, we're proud to be part of a wider network to ensure people's voices are heard and valued. You can read more about the Charter for Involvement and the NIN at their website.
Today we were in Forfar spreading the word about the NIN and the charter to Ark People Housing Care. Ali Davidson was speaking to their brilliant speak out group. Thanks for having us and we hope to see you at the NIN in Glasgow!
