It seems to defeat people to see that this arch of the Caley Hotel on Rutland St used to be the "Station Entrance" to the rather extrapolated name "Princes Street Station" which every Edinburgher knows as The Caley. First stop Merchiston (towards Glasgow) or Gorgie (towards Leith)
