言論自由是民主社會不可侵犯的基石，任何人都不該因發表評論而遭受暴力報復。台灣人民如何表達意見、如何選擇自己的未來，都不容外來威脅與脅迫介入，這是民主台灣的信念！
Freedom of speech is the foundation of all democratic societies, no one should suffer violent reprisals for expressing their views. Democratic Taiwan will not stand for harassment or intimidation being leveraged against our citizens by external forces to silence them, this is the belief of democratic Taiwan!
嚴厲譴責中國跨國鎮壓，呼籲民主夥伴共同 #抵制威權暴力！
針對中國人士涉嫌因不滿我國藝文工作者 黃逸豪的喜劇本位主義 演出時批評中共政權，出資指使在台人士跟監並策劃傷害，外交部嚴厲譴責中國此等跨國鎮壓手段，企圖透過暴力威脅侵害我國人民人身安全及言論自由！
言論自由是民主社會不可侵犯的基石，任何人都不該因發表評論而遭受暴力報復。民主台灣絕不容許境外勢力以暴力與恐懼侵害人民的人身安全，迫使人民噤聲。
外交部重申，台灣人民如何表達意見、如何選擇自己的未來，都不容外來威脅與脅迫介入，這也是民主台灣與獨裁中國的最大差異。我國政府也將堅定捍衛國家主權、民主法治及人民安全，依法追究相關責任。
外交部呼籲呼籲國際社會共同正視中國跨國鎮壓的威脅，拒絕威權政體利用民主社會的開放與自由，從事恐嚇、滲透及暴力迫害。民主國家唯有團結合作，才能有效遏止威權暴力，守護人民免於恐懼的自由。
We condemn China's transnational repression & call on democratic partners to resist authoritarian violence!
MOFA condemns the orchestration of surveillance and violence against Taiwanese comedian Huang Yi-hao by Chinese nationals in Taiwan, reputedly due to their dissatisfaction with his criticism of the Chinese Communist Party regime. These acts of transnational repression threaten Taiwanese people's right to freedom of speech and their personal safety.
Freedom of speech is the foundation of all democratic societies, and no one should suffer violent reprisals for expressing their views. Democratic Taiwan will not stand for harassment or intimidation being leveraged against our citizens by external forces to silence them.
Taiwan reiterates that, however the Taiwanese people wish to express their opinions or decide their own future, they should not be cowed or harassed by external forces; this is the biggest difference between democratic Taiwan and authoritarian China. The government of Taiwan will continue to defend our sovereignty, democratic institutions, rule of law, and the personal safety of our citizens, and will not hesitate to prosecute anyone who violates these.
MOFA calls on the international community to be clear-eyed in recognizing the threat of China's transnational repression, and refuse to allow authoritarian regimes to take advantage of the open and free nature of democratic societies to engage in intimidation, infiltration, and violent coercion. Democracies can only prevail in curbing authoritarian violence and preventing the freedom of their citizens from being curtailed amid terror through solidarity.
