Feeling incredibly privileged to have attended the Milne’s High School Award Ceremony last night, celebrating the achievements of their pupils. It was inspiring to see so many young people recognised for their hard work, creative and commitment ⭐️

The Dandelion Project was especially honoured to present the Lennox Community Council Award to a fantastic group of pupils who have played a role in shaping the Project. Their creativity in developing merchandise ideas, including Buckets and Spades, along with their enthusiasm and engagement, has been wonderful. 🪣🪏

A huge congratulations to all of the award winners 🏅

Look out for Dandelion Project Buckets and Spades at future events 👀💛

🇬🇧Armed Forces Week 2026🇬🇧

Today makes the start of Armed Forces Week, a time to recognise and thank those who serve, or have served, in our Armed Forces along with their families and the wider military community.

Armed Forces Week (22-27 June) is a national campaign to build public understanding and support for the Armed Forces community- regular, reserves, veterans, cadets, cadet adult volunteers and military families.

Throughout the week, we pay tribute to their dedication and sacrificed protecting our country and supporting communities at home and around the world. 🌍

As we look ahead to Armed Forces Day on Saturday 27 June, let us take the opportunity to show our appreciation and thanking the entire military community. They are dedicated to keeping us safe and protecting our way of life 💛

Thank you for your service 💫

🏆We have a winner! 🏆

Thank you to everyone who entered this year’s Dandelion Project Month of the Military Child Competition. The task was to design a cape, based on the theme, ‘We are Superheroes’. 🌟

We received a huge number of fantastic entries so judging each one was incredibly tough. It was really clear to see the thought and effort that went into every design. We were really impressed! 🎨🖌️

A huge well done to Leo C (P7) from Hythehill Primary School who won the competition this year. His design was very effective. We hope you enjoy your goody bag of prizes Leo and thank you for taking part! 🏅

April was a meaningful and memorable Month of the Military Child as we took time to recognise and celebrate the strength, resilience, and sacrifices of our incredible military-connected children and young people.

Throughout the month, we wore purple to show our support and shared stories that highlighted their unique experiences. From fun activities to heartfelt conversations, it was inspiring to see our community come together in appreciation of these amazing young individuals.

Military children serve too—facing challenges with courage and adapting to change with strength beyond their years. We are proud to honour them not just in April, but every single day.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this month so special. 💜💫
