📚 A HUGE thank you! 📚
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported our school by shopping at the recent Scholastic Book Fair! Thanks to your generosity, we raised an amazing £259.96.
With these funds, we have been able to add a fantastic selection of new books to our collection for our children to enjoy, explore, and get lost in—helping to inspire a lifelong love of reading 💛
Thank you once again for your support.

What a fantastic Sports Week! 🏅
Our children had an amazing time trying new activities, building confidence and having lots of fun. Each class enjoyed a special outing—from gymnastics at Rushmoor Gym, to climbing at Clip n Climb, and bowling at Guildford Spectrum.
We welcomed Paralympian David Smith OBE, who inspired everyone with boccia. Some pupils also represented us brilliantly at an athletics event, showing fantastic teamwork and our PIRRA values.
We ended the week with visiting students from Farnham Heath End School leading activities, followed by a brilliant Sports Day full of enthusiasm, determination and team spirit—well done to all!
Have a lovely half term—we look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday 1st June!

We were incredibly lucky to welcome Paralympian David Smith OBE to the school yesterday, who inspired us all by introducing the children to the sport of boccia. The children even got to hold his gold medal! His visit was a real highlight, and the children loved learning from such an accomplished athlete. Thanks to Athletes in Schools for organising his visit.

We're excited to announce that we will be holding a Scholastic Travelling Book Fair from Wednesday 6th to Tuesday 12th May in the school hall from 3.15-4.00pm - it's the perfect opportunity for our pupils and families to explore and purchase new books and best of all it's 3 books for the price of 2!
Card payments and online payments only (sorry no cash)
Come along and discover some great new books for your child, and the money raised will enable the school to buy new books for the school library.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Huge congratulations to Clemmie and Jamie from Moonbeam Class, who represented Folly Hill earlier this week at the annual Kite Academy Times Tables Championships, held at Hale Academy. After three rounds, they dropped just two marks between them, making them the overall Year 2 champions across nine schools. What an amazing achievement - we are all incredibly proud of them!

✨ A big thank you to Caitlin from The Performer’s Place for coming in this morning to run performing arts workshops for all the children! They all had an amazing time singing and dancing along to Soda Pop from K‑Pop Demon Hunters and Some Things Never Change from Frozen 2. It was lovely to see how excited and engaged they were — such a fun experience for everyone! ✨

Yesterday, the whole school took part in the annual Easter Egg Hunt. A big thank you to The Friends for supporting the Easter Bunny to make sure there were enough eggs for everyone! We also announced the winners of the Easter Egg colouring competition. There were so many incredible entries and it was clear that everyone had tried really hard. The winners were thrilled to receive a wonderful Easter Egg donated by the Farnham Lions.
A quick reminder that school finishes at 1:15pm today. We wish all our families a wonderful Easter break and we will see you all back on Monday 13th April! 🐰🐣

The children have had a fantastic time celebrating Red Nose Day!
At lunchtime they enjoyed special Red Nose Day biscuits, and the hall was filled with laughter during our joke‑sharing assembly.
A huge well done to our overall joke winners:
Year R – Oliver: “What’s orange and sounds like a parrot? A carrot.”
Year 1 – Rupert: “Two biscuits ran across the road. One got run over! What did the other one say? Ohhhh crumbs!”
Year 2 – Elora: “What do you call a fairy in the bathroom? Stinkerbelle!”
Finally, a big thank you for your generous donations to such a worthy cause — we raised a fantastic £102 for Comic Relief!
