Scottish Communists Scottish Communists have been to the fore in the great class struggles in Scotland and wider afield. http://www.morningstaronline.co.uk

The Communist Party of Britain is the Internationally recognised sister Party of the main Communist Parties in the world - Russia, China, Vietnam, Laos, Cuba, India, USA, Canada, France, South Africa, Greece, Czech - the list goes on and on! In Scotland Communists were to the forefront of the famous Red Clydeside and the UCS Work In, giants such as Comrades John McLean and Communist MP William Gallacher, as well as countless leaders in Trade Union struggles such as mining and ship building. We carry forward the programme and objectives of the Communist Party as founded in 1920, following the very direct advice Lenin himself gave to us from the start, as the basis for our political program for British revolution! http://communist-party.org.uk

SOLIDARITY WITH GARVAGHY ROAD ✊

The Scottish Committee of the Communist Party of Britain stands with the residents of Garvaghy Road, who have peacefully resisted right-wing loyalist attempts to stoke division.

Their steadfastness echoes Cable Street, 90 years on: "No compromise. they shall not pass."

We demand answers:

Why were 200 officers drafted from Police Scotland when the threat of violence was judged low?

And why has the Scottish Government stayed silent?

Scottish Communists stand for the unity of the Irish people of all backgrounds in the fight for national and class liberation.

They shall not pass!
