I've been visiting The Manor for around 10 years now and it's really where my wildlife photography journey started. I've spent a lot of time there over the years including searching for owls. I knew there had to be some there as the habitat is perfect, but never had any luck spotting them. I've changed my search strategy recently and yesterday, finally, after 10 years, I spotted my first tawny owl there at The Manor. Sitting high up in a tree, quietly watching the world go by below. I took a few shots then left him to get on with his day. Meanwhile, for the rest of my walk, I couldn't stop smiling!

Had a wonderful day out to Bushey Park last week. There's so much to see. I met some lovely wildlife photographers who pointed me in the right direction for some of the wildlife. This little kingy being one of the highlights.
