π§ Cranbrook Road Resurfacing Works Begin Tonight π§
We are pleased to let residents know that resurfacing works on Cranbrook Road (between Beehive Lane and Gants Hill) will begin tonight.
A big thank you to the local residents who campaigned and consistently raised concerns about the condition of this road. Your persistence has helped ensure these long-awaited improvements are now taking place.
Works will be carried out overnight (10:00pmβ5:00am) and are expected to continue until the early hours of 25 July. Overnight working will help keep this busy route open during the day and reduce disruption.
While there may be some overnight noise, these essential works will provide a safer and smoother road for everyone.
Thank you for your patience while the works are completed. If you have any concerns or need assistance with this or any other local issue, please feel free to get in touch.

A fantastic day at the Apex Trust Sports Festival!
I had a great time attending the Apex Trust Sports Festival at Frenford Clubs organised by Apex Primary School . It was wonderful to see so many local residents and families coming together to enjoy a day of sport, fun, and community spirit.
I took part in the badminton doubles tournament and was delighted to finish in 3rd place.
A huge thank you to Apex Trust, the organisers, volunteers, and sponsors for putting together such a fantastic event. These events encourage healthy lifestyles, bring people together, and showcase the strength of our community.
Congratulations to everyone who took part, and I look forward to supporting more community events across Redbridge.

We were delighted to attend the Deaf Street Party organised by Empowering Deaf Society EDS and would like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in making it such a welcoming and enjoyable event.
It was a fantastic opportunity for the Redbridge Independents Councillors to meet residents, listen to the experiences of the Deaf community, and learn more about the excellent work being carried out by the many organisations supporting Deaf people.
Events like this are so important in raising awareness, building stronger community connections, and helping us better understand how we can improve accessibility and inclusion across Redbridge.
Thank you to EDS for organising such a wonderful event. We thoroughly enjoyed the day, learned a great deal, and look forward to continuing to support initiatives that make our borough more accessible and inclusive for everyone.

Out and about in the Cranbrook Ward today, speaking with residents and listening to the issues that matter most to our community.
Weβre also handing out leaflets with our contact details so you can easily get in touch if you have any concerns, questions, or ideas. Keeping in touch with residents and being available when you need us is really important to us.
If you'd prefer to discuss something in person, we're happy to arrange a meeting at one of our fortnightly ward surgeries.
We're here to listen, support, and work with you to make Cranbrook Ward an even better place to live.
