Another good job of clearing the footpath by the Village Council Warden yesterday at South View. Work carried out after discovering it was overgrown with weeds. Before and after pictures.

The Village Council supported Christmas in Haworth with their latest raffle raising over £1800 for Manorlands. Thank you to jet2 for donating two return flight tickets and for the businesses on Main Street for selling the raffle tickets.

It was a pleasure as Chair of the Village Council to pick the winning ticket - well done Lindsay Condren 👏

It was a lovely morning welcoming children from Lees School to Haworth Allotments.
All the children were fully engaged and asking lots & lots of questions.
It’s always lovely to talk to children about how our food is grown.

The children are an absolute credit to Lees school and it was a pleasure to
Show them round.

Cllr Jamie Cooper
Allotments Officer

In the past week the Village Council has been clearing brambles and rubbish from the allotments in Rawdon Road.

We have also carried out a number of litter picks across the villages including Pen*stone Country Park, where we filled 6 council bin bags with rubbish, we still have further areas to clear.
We would also like to thank a number of local dog walkers who have also been collecting litter in the Country Park.
