DLD day - I hadn't heard of this until today. Really important to know about.........

On October 16th 2026 the world will be lighting up in purple (and yellow) to raise awareness of Developmental Language Disorder (DLD).
It's not too late to ask a local landmark to light up.
A proforma letter is on our website. Let us know when the landmark says 'yes' so we add it to our website. https://radld.org/dld-awareness-day/light-up-events/
Special note for anyone near Toronto. Thanks to Jinean and Camesha at the sign will be lit up again this year. Contact them if you are nearby and join the party!

Connect NC's Transport Working Group is gathering information to better understand local transport challenges, identify gaps in provision, and explore practical solutions for communities across Bude, Camelford and the surrounding parishes.
