We were awarded a €15 million contract to supply oil and gas cables to the Sannazzaro Refinery, one of the most efficient and flexible refineries in Europe, owned by ENI in Italy's Po Valley.
With a refining capacity of 180,000 barrels per day, Sannazzaro serves markets across North Western Italy and Switzerland, including the Turin, Milan and Genoa industrial triangle. Our cables cover power, control and signalling applications, manufactured to BS6883, NEK 606 and UKOOA standards.
Supplying cables for the oil and gas industry has been part of what we do throughout our history. This contract with ENI reflects the trust placed in our quality and capability at the highest level.

When Leonardo needed a fibre-optic cabling system for the Black Shark heavyweight torpedo, existing technology wasn't sufficient. The cable had to withstand extreme subsea pressure while delivering communications over at least 50 km using a single, unjointed length.
Our technicians overcame those limitations and delivered a bespoke solution now deployed by the Malaysian Marines. It followed our earlier work with Leonardo on a torpedo detection system for the British Navy in 2013. Pushing the boundaries of cable technology for naval defence.

We manufacture high-voltage and extra-high-voltage cables up to 245 kV, tested in Europe's largest Faraday Cage at our headquarters in Pieve Santo Stefano, enabling AC resonant testing on cables up to 245 kV and 20 km in length.
When KEMA Labs independently tested our 87/150 kV XLPE cable for the ITER Fusion4Energy project, zero discharge was detected at 1.5Uo, with Tan δ measured at 25 times below the maximum allowable figure. Proven performance for critical infrastructure.

Our high-voltage XLPE-insulated cables, rated from 76 kV to 132 kV (145 kV), are manufactured to IEC 60840 with a triple-extruded, dry-cured construction that controls insulation stress and reduces the risk of breakdown. Available with LSZH outer sheath for enhanced fire performance.
Suitable for ducts, trenches, direct burial and building installations, they're ideal for substations, national power networks and renewable energy connections. Every cable is tested in one of Europe's largest Faraday Cages before leaving our facility.
