TRAVEL | Edge Lane is closed heading out of the city between Laurel Rd and Milton Rd, and one lane is closed inbound. A lighting column is at a dangerous angle after it was hit by a vehicle. Engineers are en-route to make it safe. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
NEWS | Vauxhall Road, from Boundary Street to Barmouth Way, has now reopened following the removal of an unsafe building.

NEWS | Vauxhall Road, from Boundary Street to Barmouth Way, is closed in both directions. This is because the former Athol Vaults pub building has been declared unsafe. Diversions are being put in place.

DALE STREET: UPDATE: Work began earlier today repairing the carriageway the hole that opened up on Friday evening. It is being filled with concrete which needs time to set, before tarmac is laid on top. We hope to have the road reopen on Tuesday afternoon.

Part of Dale Street from B’head Tunnel entrance to Hatton Garden will be closed until early next week. A void’s been discovered two metres down & the cause needs to be identified before it’s repaired. Hatton Garden’s been made two-way to allow access to businesses.
