On Tuesday a group of us took part in research at the International Slavery Museum. We spoke about how disability is represented within the museum. It was a very interesting day and we would like to thank Iris, the PhD student who's research we were taking part in as well as the curators who we spoke to on the day. We look forward to a more inclusive experience at the museum.

Today we had a gorgeous day in The North Park. We celebrated the end of our Health Matters Project and the begining of Climate Champions: Its Our Planet! We had a nature hunt taking and drawing pictures of the nature we seen around the park.
The nature photographs were taken by Keith and the drawing was created by Rebecca. We have some amazing artists and there will be more photographs to come!

What a brilliant week for our Climate Champions: It's Our Planet Too! Project. After learning so much about bees and pollination at Grow Speke we were well prepared for World Bee Day on Wednesday. Then on Friday we had a lovely morning with Christine and her great group of Taking Root volunteers at Shelley and Poets Park. We can't wait to see how the new pond develops! Thank you everyone! we are all finding out so much about the amazing world around us through this National Lottery Community Fund funded project- we're even spotting insects and plants during our tea break and walk home!
