Liverpool Band Posters & Photos 1976-2000

The St.Helens compilation LP 'Elegance Charm and Deadly Danger' from 1985 featured The La's, (Mike Badger had been to St. Helens Art college) Each band had a 3 minute allocation but because each La's tune was under 1min 30 secs They got two tracks!

Secret Liverpool LP Adverts from Next 14 and City Limits (1984)

Forty years ago this year- 1984 certainly Liverpool's most curious and intriguing compilation LP... The first version was one sided and started with 3 minutes of silence (an art statement that was lost on most) then a second two sided version was released which opened with the first ever La's track. Some great stuff on the album- Carl Davies (elder brother of Ian Hart) who compiled the album put his tracks (The Harts) on backwards just to add spice to the whole experience!
