The scale of the marine litter crisis is huge and our workboats are working globally to provide an effective solution for cleanup but it is vital that collective actions are taken to combat the problem, including litter reduction initiatives and raising public awareness. Well done Greenpeace International for highlighting the crisis our oceans are facing.

Why choose aluminum as the main material for our and ?
First, the use of an aluminum alloy is perfect when strength and lightness are needed. An aluminum vessel, built to the same standards, weighs about 50% less than the same in steel. That means we don’t need such a large motor, saving on emissions!
Marine grade aluminum is naturally coated with a surface oxide layer, so it is corrosion resistant and does not need polluting marine coatings!
Finally, around 70% of the aluminium comes from recycling scrap aluminium and requires only 5% of the energy needed to produce primary aluminum.
It can, of course, be 100% recycled after use!

A single pilot whale was found carrying up to 35,543 individual pieces of plastic (weighing up to 5.4 kg) tangled inside its stomach.

The researchers said the debris was primarily discarded fishing gear.
