From one cupping event… to a growing partnership ☕️✨
We first met Andrew from during the Taste of Rwanda event in London back in 2024.
Since then, we’ve shared several meaningful moments together — from the London Coffee Festival to fundraising cupping events supporting our skills training centre project in Rwanda.
Beyond coffee, this collaboration has also supported our vision for the future.
The donation of cupping spoons for our training centre lab means a lot as we continue building opportunities for farmers and youth at origin.
And we’re excited to now be part of their latest box for this year’s 👀☕️
Grateful for partnerships that grow with purpose.

From origin to global conversations.
A few weeks ago, we’ve had the opportunity to engage in meaningful trade and industry spaces — from high-level cupping sessions to international exhibitions.
Through initiatives like International, we continue to position Kawah Coffee within a global network of quality, trade, opportunity and we showcased our Specialty ☕️ at the 3 days in London.
These moments matter.
They ensure that the work happening at origin is recognised, valued, and connected to the right markets.
We are proud to represent Rwandan women in coffee on these platforms.
And we are open to conversations with buyers and partners looking to source with purpose.

This Earth Day, we’re not just celebrating the planet—we’re protecting it.
At Kawah Coffee, sustainability isn’t a label. It’s how we farm, how we trade, and how we build community.

🌍 Direct trade, fewer miles between farmer and impact
When you choose Kawah, you’re choosing a system that respects both people and the planet.

Everything starts here.
At the beginning of the year, I returned to our farm in Rwanda — not just to observe, but to listen.
To the farmers.
To the land.
To the realities behind every harvest.
These moments are a reminder that Kawah Coffee is not just about what ends up in the cup.
It’s about the people, the livelihoods, and the future we are building together.
Every decision we make — from processing to partnerships — begins here.
This is what every cup of Kawah Coffee supports.

New month. Fresh momentum. 🌿✨
I’ve been a little quiet here since mid-January — and that silence was intentional.
Since announcing that I stepped into management of our family coffee farm in Rwanda, so much has been happening behind the scenes. Another quick trip to the farm. Long days reviewing operations. Listening to our farmers. Refining systems. Planning growth.
Leadership isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it looks like boots in the soil.
And today, I’m proud to share this:
Our first green coffee export deal of 2026 is officially signed and soon on its way to Scotland. 🇷🇼➡️🏴
From the hills of Kinunu to Scottish roasters — our beans are travelling further, carrying with them the work of our 90% women-led farming community and the legacy of three generations.
This is what farm-to-cup really means.
Ownership. Responsibility. Traceability. Impact.
We are building more than a coffee brand.
We are building systems, partnerships, and long-term sustainability.
And this is only the beginning of what’s coming this year.
Thank you for staying on this journey with us.
March is going to be powerful.

Taking ownership means taking responsibility.
This new chapter means:
– deeper investment in our farmers
– stronger quality control from soil to cup
– accelerating our Skills Training Centre on the farm
We are building something that lasts — for our community and for the future of coffee.

2026 begins with legacy.
As of January 1st, my brother and I officially became the new owners of our family coffee farm in Rwanda — with me stepping into the role of Managing Director, our father’s former role.
Our parents didn’t just pass on land, coffee trees and a washing station.
They passed on trust, responsibility and a story built over decades.
More than coffee. A legacy in every cup.
This new chapter is about honouring what came before us while growing quality, impact, and opportunity for our farming community.
We’re just getting started 🌍☕
