Full Capacity was set up in the early Summer of 2020.
Leading figures from across the private sector, but primarily the hospitality sector, came together in order to identify a way out of the Covid-19 crisis.
The objective was to identify the technology and establish an initiative, which would in turn provide a multi layered Covid compliance framework. This framework would allow large scale attended events and venues to operate with, but ultimately without, social distancing.
The work that has been done over the last 10 months, with companies across from across the globe, has been extensive. Working with The City of London, GLA, and key government departments such as DCMS, PHE, DHSC, BIES, along with countless industry groups, Full Capacity has been able to deliver a clear and scaleable set of solutions.
It is the view of those connected to this work, that the measures herein will be required throughout 2021 and in large part for 2022. It is also a shared opinion that an effective vaccination programme can be effective with a regular, rapid testing system running parallel. If the private sector is allowed and trusted to shoulder much of this responsibility, then these ambitions can be achieved.
