Our vision is of an education system where every young person has a trusted adult by their side throughout secondary school.

FBB supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds who are passionate about football but disengaged at school in order to help them finish school with the skills and grades to make a successful transition into adulthood. We do this by providing long-term, intensive support, built around relationships and young people’s passions, in the classroom and beyond.

On Monday evening, we brought together an incredible group of supporters for an intimate dinner in support of Football Beyond Borders at Scott’s, Mayfair.

Hosted by talkSPORT’s Jim White, the evening explored the power of relationships in shaping futures, both on and off the pitch.

We heard from Jack Reynolds, Fabian Hürzeler and Oliver Glasner on what it really takes to build high-performing teams, and why trust, belonging and strong relationships sit at the heart of leadership.

One of the most powerful moments of the evening came from FBB graduate Callum Scruton, who shared his journey from programme participant to practitioner, supporting young people in schools in the North West.

We also heard from Alastair Campbell, who brought his perspective on leadership and influence in today’s world.

Thanks to the extraordinary generosity in the room, the evening also raised vital financial support that will enable us to continue supporting young people across the country, ensuring they have access to the trusted relationships and support they need to thrive in school and beyond.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us, and continues to believe in young people.

9 boys. 3 schools. 1 day at St George’s Park for the first day of England Men’s Open Training.

We took young people from Our Lady and St Chad Catholic Academy, The Earls High School and West Walsall Academy to the national football centre for a truly transformative day.

Kicking off with a Q&A with England legend Glen Johnson, watching training up close, and getting shirts and boots signed by the players they look up to.

Big thanks to and for making it happen.

One year ago, the Lost Boys Taskforce was born from a simple but urgent question: why are teenage boys not thriving and how can we change that story?

From day one, FBB Graduates Gui Fernandes and Tristan Rowley have been at the heart of the Taskforce, helping shape it into what it is today: a collective of leaders across sport, education, and policy working to influence government and push for a country where every young person has a trusted adult.

At the first ever meeting, they kicked off by sharing their stories. In response, Anthony Barry, England Assistant Manager, and Mark Bullingham, Chief Executive of The FA, invited the boys to an England game to thank them for their contributions.

A year later and dreams came true last night. Gui and Tristan joined Mark in the Royal Box for England’s final warm-up game against Japan. It was an unforgettable evening, including a stadium tour led by Mark himself, and the chance to speak with England captain Harry Kane.

Mark and Ant went far beyond the promise they made to the boys, living the values of the Lost Boys Taskforce entirely.

Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur. The North London Derby. A fixture you circle in your calendar instantly.

Alessia Russo recognised that and truly showed out. A first half hat-trick is definitely one way to rise to the occasion ⚽🔥

But that wasn’t the only highlight of the day. It was made even more special as provided 150 tickets for the FBB family to attend such a massive game.

Young people, family members, teachers, FBB practitioners and more all had the chance to experience one of the biggest fixtures of the season - thanks to the incredible generosity of The Alessia Russo Foundation ❤️

A huge thank you as well to for supplying the tickets to The Alessia Russo Foundation.

An unforgettable day, on and off the pitch 🙌

Highgate Wood’s public product for the “Validate It” module is in the style of Kate Baer, who takes hate mail she receives and transforms it into empowering poems by selecting words from the original message to create a clever response.

In the first slide the group turn misogynistic comments from Donald Trump about an American politician into words of power and affirmation, while the second slide is Nabinha’s reflections upon completing the Validate It module.

This public product was exclusively shown in the latest edition of our newsletter, to get the next one right into your inbox head over to our website to subscribe!

Two significant dates in Football Beyond Borders’ calendar came together on Sunday: the Women’s League Cup Final and Mother’s Day 💐

There was no better way to celebrate two core parts of FBB’s work, football and family, than by welcoming our young people and their mothers to Bristol for an incredible day of football, courtesy of the

A huge thank you to the WSL for providing their executive box, giving our young people and their parents the chance to enjoy the game in style and be part of such a major moment in the football calendar ❤️

Strong leaders. Stronger together. 💚⚽️

Young people embrace the mantle of responsibility, as long as we empower them to do so. Peer on peer learning teaches us that everybody has a unique perspective to bring to the table that can transform learners into teachers.

On Friday we put the power in the hands of our young people to do just that as our Year 11 cohort designing and delivering a football session for our Year 10 cohort, and creating a video breaking down the key facets of leadership

Backed by Nike’s commitment to getting more girls moving, the day was all about confidence, communication, courage and community.

Massive thank you to for supporting our work in developing female leaders in sport, we were able to use the amazing Battersea Powerleague facilities to his our young people.
