The Highams Park Arts Trail is back from 1st–17th May 2026 with exhibitions, events and creativity across the local area as well as in OUR own Hale End Library!

Pick up a brochure and explore what’s happening in and around Highams Park 💛

And we also have the Hale End Spring Flea Market in the Library Car Park on the 9th of May! 11am-3pm.

Come for antique finds, bric a brac, crafts and vintage fashion! ✨

Some of our libraries will be used as polling stations on 7 May 2026, so a few branches will be closed for the day.

Please check before you visit:
📍 North Chingford, Hale End, Wood Street & Lea Bridge — closed
📍 Walthamstow, Higham Hill, Leyton & Leytonstone — open (normal opening hours)
