Via our Kickstarter campaign you can book counselling sessions for yourself (with over 50% discount) OR donate sessions to those in need.
We have a large population of Muslims, from war torn countries like Syria, whom have suffered tremendous trauma; your donations will actively help them get the counselling they need!
The funds that we raise from this campaign will help us create a service for all Muslims wherever they are- InshAllah!

You can reduce stress and anxiety by focussing on something else or using a distractor:
1. Focus on the details of a scene that you are looking at (such as counting the number of things e.g. how many branches on a tree)
2. Pass an object from one hand to the other and spell the word CALM in your mind (repeat it until the feeling dissipates)
3. If anxiety comes on quite quickly, you can ‘twang’ yourself with an elastic band on your wrist as the thoughts escalate. This mild level of pain may stop the negative train of thought.

Helping others can reduce depression and feelings of isolation.
Volunteering within the community or small acts of kindness for friends and family can all help alleviate symptoms.
This is why a tailored approach to counselling is needed...
We were asked to comment on BAME mental health by ITV Wales.
The truth is that BAME mental health was already at tipping point and COVID has compounded an already critical issue.
The government needs to step up and start looking after mental health the same way as physical health and recognise that BAME is under served even under the meagre support that is currently offered. Black Britons are 4 times more likely to be sectioned and Asian are far more likely to be medicated than to be offered therapy or counselling...it’s al outrage and one that we should be raising to our MPs.
