London, 1 June 2026 – First Secretary Bufoj William and Mr. James Garang participated in the Embassy Long Service Award ceremony.

The Embassy Long Service Award Ceremony was conducted to acknowledge and commend diplomatic mission staff accredited to the United Kingdom for their steadfast service, commitment, and significant contributions to their respective missions over an extended period.

The event was attended by the Head of Mission, various diplomats, and embassy personnel, who convened to honor the recipients' professionalism, loyalty, and unwavering dedication in advancing the Embassy's objectives and serving the interests of their missions.

Mr. James Garang, having completed 15 years of service at the Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, received a certificate recognizing his enduring dedication and loyalty to the mission.

London, 21 May 2026 – First Secretary Bufoj William attended a healthcare briefing specifically designed for the diplomatic community in London. This event, hosted at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, was a collaborative effort with Cigna Healthcare.

Leveraging over six decades of experience in supporting embassies, high commissions, diplomats, and international organizations, this session offered insights derived from Cigna's Diplomatic Health Study. Furthermore, it furnished practical advice on navigating the UK healthcare system, comprehending clinical pathways, and underscored the critical importance of localized expertise.

This occasion presented a valuable opportunity to foster engagement, facilitate knowledge dissemination, and augment healthcare support for the diplomatic community.

London, 7 May 2026 – Second Secretary Mark Yuel Thiek attended the London Sustainability Forum 2026, which focused on "Water, Agriculture, Renewable Energy & Climate: From Systems Thinking to Investment Action."

The forum brought together investors, diplomatic representatives, policymakers, and government officials to discuss the interdependencies of water, agriculture, renewable energy, and climate resilience, emphasising sustainable investment and practical implementation strategies.

Panel discussions concentrated on integrating these critical sectors into coherent and actionable development frameworks aimed at enhancing sustainability and long-term economic resilience.

Investors highlighted current renewable energy and agricultural projects across the African continent, particularly in countries with significant agricultural potential, and expressed substantial interest in expanding investment and partnership opportunities throughout Africa.
