Notification of roadworks:Resurfacing a section of A217 Belmont Rise.(No 52 to junction with Dorset Road), from 28 to 30 July 2022. Work will take place overnight between 21:00 and 05:00.Local traffic diversions will be in place during the works.
The work will be carried out overnight. During each phase of work, a length of the carriageway will be resurfaced. Road closures will be in place, however diversions will be clearly signposted. To limit disturbance to residents we aim to complete the noisiest work before midnight each evening.We have agreed the working hours with the local authority and we will make every
effort to finish the works on time.
Dates and times Traffic impacts
Thursday 28 July from
21:00 until 05:00 hours
Friday 29 July from
21:00 until 05:00 hours
- Phase 1: Eastbound diversion in place. Eastbound
access only to Belmont Rise from Dorset Road
- Phase 2: Westbound diversion in place: westbound
access to Belmont Rise from Northey Avenue
- There will be a diversion in place around the work
site and signage will be in place
