Enough is enough. Labour’s fly-tipping failure in St Helens.

For too long, Labour have let our streets, alleyways and open spaces become dumping grounds - and handed the bill to you, the taxpayer.

THE FIGURES SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES:

• Around 2,000 fly-tips every year

• Over 3,000 incidents in a single year

• £1.1 million+ spent since 2021

• 6 in 10 dumped in back alleys - right behind people’s homes

UNDER LABOUR, ENFORCEMENT HAS COLLAPSED:

• 74 fines in 2021-22
• Just 23 fines when incidents hit over 3,000
• 0 fines issued in 2024-25

They investigate.
They clean it up.
But there are no real consequences.

THE RESULT?

More dumping.
The same hotspots.
The same bill - paid by you.

We’ve been listening. We know this matters.

We will look at every tool available to a council - enforcement, hotspot targeting, waste services, and better reporting - and set out a realistic, costed plan.

ST HELENS DESERVES BETTER.
