The High Commission participated in the recently concluded UK-Caribbean Trade and Investment Forum III held on 14 - 15 May, 2026 at Lancaster House.
The forum brought together a range of investors in varying sectors of interest to St. Vincent and the Grenadines such as tourism, energy, ago-processing, and blue economy just to name a few.
The High Commission was represented at the forum by the Minister Counsellor Jinelle Adams and Administrative Attache Kimberley Dougan.

Brereton Horne, High Commissioner for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines celebrating the remarkable achievement of Grenada, which has won gold for the 9th consecutive time at the Chelsea Flower Show in London. It was an honor to share this moment with Her Excellency Dame Cécile La Gr***de, the Governor General, and Her Excellency Racher Croney, the High Commissioner.
This accomplishment showcases Grenada's dedication to excellence in horticulture and represents a significant milestone for the nation.

The High Commission for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines invites young Vincentian photographers to participate in the Commonwealth Youth Photography Competition 2026: “Waves of Change.”
Launched by the Royal Commonwealth Society in partnership with the Commonwealth Secretariat and the City of London Corporation’s Youth Natural Environment Board, this Commonwealth-wide competition provides an important platform for young people across the Commonwealth to share their perspectives through photography.
The competition is open to individuals aged 18–30 from all 56 Commonwealth nations and encourages participants to submit one original photograph highlighting the theme of oceans, waterways, environmental change, resilience, and innovative solutions within their communities and surroundings.
Entries may be submitted under the following categories:
• Human–Ocean Connection
• Hope and Resilience
• Threats and Challenges
• Innovative Solutions
Winning photographs will be exhibited during the upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), offering young photographers international recognition and the opportunity to have their voices and creativity showcased on a global stage.
Competition Details:
• Eligibility: Commonwealth citizens or residents aged 18–30
• Submission: One original photograph accompanied by a statement of up to 300 words
• Entry Fee: Free
• Deadline for Entries: 8 June 2026

His Excellency J M Brereton Horne at the Caribbean Council's Annual Reception (2026) held at the House of Lords on the 6th May 2026. Guest of honour was the Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands, the Honourable Charles Washington Misick OBE.
