Posted • ✨ 25/10/2020: CONTRA VIENTO Y COVID; CHILE DECIDIÓ ACABAR CON EL LEGADO DEL DICTADOR ✨
78% of Chileans voted in support of rewriting Chile's constitution, a constitution that dates back to Pinochet's military dictatorship. Never has news come at a sweeter time, feeling so so proud 🎉 After decades of struggle for Chileans, and more recent mass protests against widespread inequalities here is finally a win. A win that couldn't have happened without womxn, afro-latinx, indigenous, q***r and other marginal voices at the frontline for so long. Piñera and all you other crusty fascists across the globe can suck it!! although la lucha continua as always, here's to celebrating the beginning of change. Feeling so grateful to be able to watch on from my bedroom despite the distance. A big thanks to for always bringing us the news and FACTS during this time! Swipe for some images and resources I have enjoyed including the completo of my dreams, gunna go cry 🌭

It’s World Arepa Day!
🌽
Throughout its history, the arepa has stayed mainly unchanged from the arepas that pre-Columbian native peoples would have consumed, making the arepa one of the few pre-contact traditions that have remained popular in the years since colonisation.
🥑
It is eaten daily and can be served with cuajada (fresh cheese), various meats, avocado, or diablito (deviled ham spread).
