Michael K Williams: The Wire actor found dead in his New York apartment

Actor was known for his roles in The Wire and Boardwalk Empire amongst others

According to the New York Post, the actor was found by law enforcement Monday afternoon (6 September). Drug paraphernalia was also found, indicating a possible overdose, the newspaper reported.

They also indicate that Williams was found by his nephew in the living room of the apartment.

Hope this isn't true but it looks like it is!

Very sad news today that the lovely Sarah Harding has passed away at the age of 39.

This is a reminder that we must live life to the fullest as anything can happen so we must live each day as if it’s your last.

The food sector continues to face staffing shortages as the dual impacts of Brexit and Covid-19 cause disruption across the industry. Retailers, producers and restaurants are all being hit by the shortages, which are the result of Covid-related absences as well as European Union workers leaving the country due to Brexit. While these effects threaten businesses both large and small, local shops with smaller supply chains may be in a stronger position to keep their shelves stocked.

Over the weekend, Logistics UK and the British Retail Consortium (BRC) wrote to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) to outline steps that the Government needs to take to address shortages of HGV drivers, which are causing significant disruption to the food and drink supply chain.
