A Day in the life of your family Photography - Capture the spring! Spring is here at last! Even though the temps are not yet exactly what we are hoping for, parks and gardens are at their best - wonderfully fresh greens and amazing colours from all kind of trees and flowers.

A lovely testimonial I got from a client the other week:-)

"I pride myself on being able to relax and de-stress my clients with my massage skills and aromatherapy oils, but when it comes to my children its a completely different matter. With three under five, their energy levels seem to be unending and capturing them in a photo is nearly impossible. The moment I notice them being all 'cute' I go to grab my camera and they immediately resort to fighting and crying or performing in a totally unnatural way. So it was quite the miracle that we found Susanne. She came to our house and spent several hours with us, patiently taking photos on a trip to the local common.

I've had photographers visit us at home before, and its been quite hard work. However with Susanne, we took a walk to the common and rather than spend the afternoon being put through our paces to capture the perfect shot, we were actually encouraged to play with the kids and have fun! When the photos arrived as a download only a week or so later, I had tears in my eyes. The expressions she had captured on my children's faces, both in group shots and individually were so true to their nature, that I feel I will never have to lose those memories as they grow up. I'm so grateful to Susanne for that."

When I met Emma in Putney the other week to take head shots for her new website she asked me whether I would extend the photo session a little bit to get some shots of her and her son Thomas as well. As I love children photography I, of course, happily agreed. While we were walking towards Wandsworth Park to take some more formal shots I couldn’t resist to take a few candid shots of Emma’s cute and cheerful boy along the way. No matter how much time there is there are always some wonderful pictures to be taken as you can see!
