We're proud to be leading Camden’s rough sleeping outreach service as part of a new six-year partnership with the London Borough of Camden.
By bringing housing, mental health, and drug & alcohol specialists together in one place, we're making it easier for people sleeping rough to get the support they need.
Most importantly, we're committed to helping people access support earlier, working with key partners and reducing the devastating impact of long periods spent sleeping on the streets and helping more Londoners leave the streets behind for good.

The words we use shape how we understand abuse.
When people hear domestic violence, they often think only of physical harm. But many survivors experience a wider pattern of abuse.
That's why we often use domestic abuse as an umbrella term. It includes:
💬 Coercive control
🧠 Psychological and emotional harm
💷 Financial control
🚫 Isolation and intimidation
⚠️ Physical violence too
Domestic violence is part of domestic abuse, but abuse is not always physical.
Words carry power. Let's use them to recognise abuse properly and connect survivors with the support they need.

💬 "You learn where you can sleep. You learn where you can go. People show you the places. A doorway, a bin shed, somewhere hidden."
For years, this was Natalie's reality. Experiencing homelessness and addiction, she spent her days hustling to survive and searching for somewhere safe to sleep.
Today, she sees that the same determination that helped her survive is helping her build a better future.
💬 "My support worker actually sat down and listened. She heard me, and she felt me. There have been slips with my recovery. But the difference now is that I deal with it. I don’t disappear.”
With the right support, Natalie began rebuilding her confidence, reconnecting with family, and creating a life she once thought was out of reach. 💜
Now, she has a home she proudly calls her "little palace" and is looking for ways to help others. ✨
💬 "I want to give back. Helping people makes me feel good."
We’re so proud of you, Natalie!

“A lost generation” is the phrase being used as the number of young people not in education, employment or training reaches a 12-year high. 🚨
But young people are not lost. Too often, they simply haven't been given the opportunities, support or pathways they need to thrive.
We know many of the young people we support want the chance to build a different future. They want to work, continue their education and achieve their goals. 🎯
That's why our specialist Young Person Education, Training and Employment (ETE) team works alongside young Londoners to help turn those ambitions into reality. 🤝
Through one-to-one support, careers events, employability workshops and practical guidance, young people build confidence, develop new skills and access opportunities in education, training and work.
Let's not write our future generations off, but take this headline as motivation to invest in our young people.

Homelessness shouldn’t be a crime. ❌
But under the Vagrancy Act, people can still be criminalised simply for trying to survive — fined, moved on, and pushed further away from support.
It creates a cycle of fear and instability, where people are less likely to seek support and more likely to be trapped on the streets. Outdated and deeply damaging. 😔
Everyone deserves a safe and secure place to call home. ❤️

Hot weather can kill people sleeping rough.
Long days in direct sun, nights on hot pavements and very little access to water, shade, toilets or somewhere safe to rest.
Looking out for your fellow Londoners could save lives. ❤️
Say hello. Offer water if you can. Share sun cream, a hat or an umbrella. Help someone find shade. Contact StreetLink if you’re worried about someone. And if someone is in immediate danger, call 999.

Joining Single Homeless Project means joining a team that’s bold, compassionate and determined to do better for the people we support and for each other.
We’re not perfect, but we’re real. We listen. We learn. And we push forward, together.
Because this isn’t just a job. It’s a chance to lead with empathy, spark change, and help build a London where no one is left behind.

Pedal to the floor and smiles all round 🏁
A brilliant day of go-karting for our young people, taking on the track, making memories and bringing plenty of competitive spirit.

Homelessness and mental health are deeply connected. One can lead to the other. Often, they feed each other.
Poor mental health can make everyday pressures feel impossible to manage. And homelessness itself can leave lasting emotional scars.
That’s why we build mental health support into everything we do. From crisis support to long-term recovery, we help people rebuild stability, confidence and hope.
Everyone deserves good mental health. 💚
