To join you must be in Year 8 or above and at least 12 years old.
The RAF Air Cadets offers endless opportunities, on parade nights you can take part in leadership and first aid exercises, learn the fundamentals of flying on our flight simulator and take on STEM challenges!
On weekends you can attend an array of camps which can focus on anything from shooting, Adventure Training & Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, visiting RAF bases or everything in our multi- activity camps.

Any questions you have can be answered by cadets or staff if you attend on Thursday 27th February 2025.

Last month, 4 of our cadets got the experience of a lifetime by getting a chance to take to the skies in the Grob Tutor with an RAF pilot, giving them the ability to take control of the aircraft whilst in flight! Our cadets got to practice basic maneuvers in the air, learning about the effect of control surfaces. Some even got to do aerobatics - future red arrows pilots in the making 💪✈️

We are recruiting! If you are in at least year 8 and 12 or above, why not join the air cadets and take to the skies! We are running an Open Evening on Thursday 6th June for prospective cadets and their parents/guardians to come visit and gain an insight to what we do with our activities on offer!
