135 Geographic Squadron unveils the first Benchmark of the new millennium marking its 70th year in the Borough of Epsom & Ewell and its links with the Ordnance Survey.

135 Geographic Squadron was at it again, strinking a balance between business and pleasure. Hosting the Sqn’s Christmas celebration (Caribbean Theme) sandwich between two days of information and training for the Reserves. Successful G1/G4 (Admin) weekend and celebrating the selection of 6 New Sprs to LCpl. Congrats to Sprs B, K, 3Ls, P and S.

Congratulations to LCpl W of 135 Geographic Squadron [or 42 Engineer Regiment (Geographic)] on receiving the Lord Lieutenant of Surrey’s Meritorious Service Award recognising his outstanding motivation, professionalism and selfless commitment to the Army Reserve.

Few of 135 Geographic Squadron RE took part in Trailwalker this year. The teams were taking on the challenge of 100km with 4 people, in 30 hrs starting in Queen Elizabeth Country Park, Petersfield and ending in Brighton.

The two teams did extremely well one deciding to give running ago and the other’s mission to complete, finishing in sub 20 and 24 hrs respectively. Well done teams. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Well done to the Worshipful Company Of Chartered Surveyors, our affiliated livery company for signing the Armed Forces Covenant on Wed 11 Sept. The Covenant pledges the Worshipful Company to support the military community including service personnel, veterans and military families.

Fitness and well-being is key to delivering strong, healthy and motivated soldiers. On 12 July, LCpl C achieved his goal of passing the Physical Training Instructor (Basic) course. Putting these skills to good use two days later with the Sqn!

135 Geographic Squadron put in an appearance at the We Have Ways Fest 2024 weekend. Great to engage with all the WW2 enthusiasts while showcasing maps of D-Day beaches.

135 Geographic Squadron exercised our Freedom of Epsom and Ewell on Sat 13 July 24. A fantastic opportunity to bond our long ties with the local community.
