Today the UK APPG on Israel launched the second edition of the 7 October report, chaired by Lord Andrew Roberts.

This comprehensive and meticulously researched report provides an essential and authoritative account of the atrocities committed during the attacks of 7 October 2023, which led to the murder of approximately 1,200 people, the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust.

At a time when disinformation and denial persist, this report plays a vital role in preserving the truth and ensuring that the events of that day are neither forgotten nor distorted.

A special Iftar dinner hosted by the Embassy of Somaliland to the United Kingdom brought together representatives of the Embassies of Somaliland and Israel.

The gathering provided a meaningful opportunity to share in a cherished tradition observed by Muslims around the world, including in Israel, and to celebrate the values of hospitality, generosity, and reflection that define this month.

The Iftar dinner served not only as a cultural and religious observance, but also as a moment to reaffirm the importance of religious tolerance, peaceful coexistence, and of understanding of regional challenges and solutions through cooperation.

Matti Caspi was a gifted musician who pioneered many musical genres and introduced sounds such as bossa nova, jazz, and classical music into Israeli culture, where they became part of the soundtrack of Israeli life. Matti passed away yesterday at the age of 76 after a battle with cancer. His music will continue to echo throughout Israel.
