Dron House was built by the City of London in 1922 for the purpose of housing people displaced as a result of the improvement of Spitalfields Market.
It comprises 79 flats and is located in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Situated in an historic part of London the estate is conveniently close to shops, public transport and the city.

Works to landscape the estate gardens is well underway, phase one of the planting took place last week where over 1000 new plants and bulbs were installed. Next month Phase two will see the rest of the estate covered.
The locks to the communal entry door of each block will be changed today, please don't forget to carry your new keys with you. If you require extra keys they will be available from Matt in the estate office from tomorrow afternoon.

Residents are reminded that the locks to the communal entry door of each block are being changed on Monday, you will have recieved a letter from the estate officer containing two new keys to your block. please make sure you carry these with you from Monday!
Don't forget this evening in the community hall, we are holding a meeting to plan and organise our winter party! Please attend at 18.00 if you can, all residents welcome!
Please note that the esate officer, Matt Ring, will be on leave tomorrow (Friday 26th August) until next Tuesday 1st September. There is no cover staff available for these dates so the gate will remain locked.
